Progress Report:

As the June 30 move date for our offices approaches, work within the existing Parish House building is focused on completing work that is necessary for the Cathedral staff to occupy space. The walls have been primed with paint, and finishings such as flooring tile on the ground level will soon be laid. As some staff offices will be in the newly constructed space, many office arrangements will be temporary until the project is completed in late October. The framing for the glass curtainwall has been completed which provides a clear outline of the shape of the new construction – the glass installation will begin at the end of May and will give the building a finished look on the exterior.

We are moving!

Our office will be closed on Thursday, June 30 as the Cathedral staff move back to 65 Church Street. The project completion date for the Cathedral Centre project remains the end of October, however we will have early use of some of the space in the original 1909 building. The entrance to the office will be from Church Street and our phone numbers will remain the same. We will not have access to the basement, the third floor, elevators, or any of the new construction space (where the old CD Howe space was located). We look forward to a grand opening of the entire space with a community event to take place on the weekend of October 29. More details will follow as the event takes shape.
