Church School

Children's education for ages 6-12 is available during the 11:00am service.  Children join teachers in the last pews on the centre aisle before the start of service.  Visiting children and parents are most welcome.  During the first hymn of the service, children are escorted from the Cathedral to the parish house for their program.  They return to the service in time to come to the altar to receive holy communion or a blessing. Preparation is available from the clergy as required for children who wish to begin receiving holy communion.

Children through age 5 meet in St. George's Chapel during the 11:00am service.  A member of the cathedral community reads bible stories to the children in the chapel during the sermon.

The ministry to children is offered under the leadership of Church School Coordinator, Nancy Mallett.

Do you have any questions about Church School or would you like to assist? More volunteers are needed for the upcoming church school year. The time commitment is around two hours each month.

Please contact the Vicar at 416-364-7865x235.
